This lack of personality is compounded by the fact that the MC has a harem of peerless jade beauties with shallow personalites, making it hard to differentiate between any of the peerless jade beauties. The second biggest flaw in the novel is that every character in this novel is extremely two dimensional, even in my opinon for a chinese web novel. The MC is so op at cultivating from cheats and random power ups that pokemon are useless for the three hundred chapters I read. The biggest problem with LLS is that the author does not know whether this is a pokemon novel, or a cultivation novel. Yet the story spends a massive amount of time on them.Įdit: I decided to make a more coherent statement of the bad sides of the novel. With my description describing the state of the story since chapter 100Įvery side character is boring, and every love interest has the personality of soggy bread. The random encounters have become uninteresting as well as the reader already knows what is going to happen with whatever harem member is travelling with the MC gets flirted with by MC, then gets attacked by mob, then both people fight -> MC saves girl -> MC beats ass of person when the girl gets knocked unconscious. Literally all of the female harem members have the same personality and it becomes very apparent the more the MC interacts. Past chapter 100 the author probably ran out of ideas, since then the story has been stagnant and the female cast have all been consolidating into one single personality.
I have been a fan of Long Live Summons since the first chapter was translated, however while the story was funny and amusing at the beginning it has quickly grown stale.
